If you know the Appliance Doctor then you know that the only thing I love more than my business and food, is music. As a guitarist since age 6, music has been my life and I’ve learned to love and appreciate the artists who create it. This month, I had the honor of going to see someone who I believe to be an iconic performer, Bill Medley formerly of “The Righteous Brothers”, perform at the Paramount Theater in Peekskill, NY.
The Righteous Brothers duo consisted of singers Bill Medley and the late Bobby Hatfield. They were known for their deep, soulful sound and their legendary hits such as “Unchained Melody”, “Time of my Life” and “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling,” which was recently reported to be one of the greatest songs of all times.
It was truly nothing short of an honor to see Bill Medley perform and to relive those treasured years when music was meaningful and heartfelt and when the only way you could make it in the industry was if you had pure, raw, talent. Those days will never be forgotten and will live on through the music they left behind.
